On Friday, July 27, 2012, Tameka Raymond laid her son 11 year old son Kile to rest, one week after taking him off of life support. On July 7th, while on a weekend getaway, Kile was struck by a jet ski while lying on an inner tube on Lake Lanier. Jeffery Hubbard the drive of the jet ski that struck Kile may face charges pending an investigation. Kile was air lifted to the children’s hospital in Atlanta, where he was unresponsive and later declared brain dead.
After being on life support for three weeks, his mother Tameka made the heat breaking decision to remove him from life support on July 21, 2012. Upon being removed from the life support machine, Kile suffered heart failure d passed away. At his funeral, held in the Wieuca Road Baptist Church in Buckhead, Kile was remembered as a sweet, loving and respectful kid. The funeral recessional was lead by a trumpet player before Kyle was laid to rest in the nearby cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Tameka is asking to make donations to the Kile Glover fun, via Bank of America. The money will go to increase water safety for children and their families.
